Sight seeing in London Town!

Two post in one day! Stop, stop hold your applause! I’m  flattered. *crowd goes crazy*Wow. London never ceases to amaze me. Although I was born there and go back about every couple of years there is always something new to behold, an unlocked treasure to discover. I took sooooo many photos. Since I’m not an avid photographer I would am  not doing London any justice with my photos. I hope you enjoy. I made collages because I took so many photos. Hopefully you are able to get a taste into my journey. 🙂  Enjoy!

In the Center of the square!

Oxford Street. Droppin' some pounds if you know what I mean.

Triple-decker sandwhich!

Train Transportation system & easy way to rob your money. Beware of the danger.

Some people consider these rats with wings. The little street demon. Arrrgh, be gone!

Last meal in London Town

Hey Love Bugs! It’s about time for me to go home. My trip to London was lovely. It just wanted to show you all my last meal that I ate. (Sidenote: I’m still working on a collage of some of the final pictures)  It was good but at the same time it was a bit bland. Not gonna lie, resturants don’t know how to properly season eggs. Good thing I’m Nigerian and know the value of a good spice! 🙂

FYI- the interior of restaurants in London are absolutely fabulous. It’s good to see people that actually value comfort & style while eating. And this little cafe was in an airport!   The only bad thing is there are no free refills, almost anywhere. 😦

Tea Time in London Town

Hey Love Bugs. So if you didn’t already know I was born in London. Given that fact I drank tea up to my ears until about the third grade. During the third grade I realized I was sick of tea & I haven’t drunk black tea since then. Although in 9th grade I discovered the health benefits of green tea. (Oh, Lipton… how I love thy) Any-hoo my uncle made me this traditional English tea time meal. The meal consist of a scone, jam, and this cream stuff. It was delicious but very very heavy. I could only eat one half of the scone biscuit. I saved the other half for later. My uncle said that tea time is usually around 3:00pm and sometimes people would go to hotels or nice hotels to eat this scone & tea snack. Well, God Bless. I will be uploading photos of London scenery soon.

London Beer

Hey Love Bugs. I’m still in London and I’ve found that there nothing better than going to a corner pub and  having a good glass of beer.  SIKE! I don’t drink, as in I don’t drink alcohol.  I just thought it was really funny/interesting how some many things look like beer/ alcohol. Y’all take a look. Sorry if you were offended by my little joke. I have a weird sense of humor.

Christmas Unwrapped.

Honestly, I’m not a huge Christmas person. I believe that Christmas is a mere representation of God giving me (and you) the greatest gift in the universe, the gift of Jesus. I do not ask for Christmas gifts nor expect them. (Sidenote: The Christmas Wishlist post was mere a goal list for things I wanted to buy myself because I had just acquired a new job) The real meaning of Christmas has sort of been lost by many. I hope when I have kids that things such as a Christmas Day Church service won’t become outdated because people want to “spend more time with their families”. I love my family as much as the next person but even when we are together someone is on their phone, another on their computer, and finally someone wines up in the kitchen. Thanksgiving is about food why make Christmas about food again? Oh well. I need to stop being like Ebenezer Scrooge and start being more like Tiny Tim! “God Bless them, every one”

One last thing, this Christmas I want to thank God for my beautiful (and cute) cousin Amy Jegede, she is only 2 months but never the less a representation of God’s goodness. Also if you don’t know the real reason of Christmas, here is one place where the birth of Jesus can be found. Luke 2, the whole thing. While reading this passage this year one part really stood out to be in verse 34 Luke writes: 34 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, 35 so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.”

The bible has made the most accurate predictions in the world. Everything that has been prophesied in the old testament came to past in the New Testament. That why I let God rule my destiny, because He (and He alone) knows my plan & purpose!

In conclusion, Merry Christmas… And I will be announcing my Christmas gift to y’ll shortly. (as in three days time, hopefully)

London Homes

Hey Love bugs. Oh how I love my vacation in London. It’s more like a stayaction. Because London is my second home. I feel so corny using the word stayaction, I mean it’s not like I’m forty five with too many vacation hours.  Any-hoo, I’ve been in London and seen some gorgeous houses. If you didn’t know I love architecture. I love art and find things such as painting, sculptures, architecture, fashion, music, writing, and fashion different forms of art. The thing about London house is that they are old. I mean old pipes, old structures, old electrical systems. It takes a lot of getting use to.  (I know that something are fairly new but the large is a large portion that is fairly oldish). So I’ve seen this house that I love. I took a picture during the day & at night. (Sidenote: I’m not a crazy stalker I’m just living down the street). Anyhoo enjoy these pictures! 🙂

I feel so cultured although I’ve been to London several several times. The funny thing is that white car on the grass, was just sitting in someone’s yard like decoration. Anyhoo Happy Christmas Eve everybody!

Window Shopping

Window shopping… a/k/a- shopping without money. Hey Love Bugs just wanted to let you know what I’ve been up to. For the last few days I have gone window shopping. It’s really quite a bore because I’m saving my money until Boxing Day (Dec. 26th) when the real sales are apparent. So far I’ve only purchased a yellow/gold cari. But I thought some pictures would be nice. Some of my favorite stores have been Superdrug (Sort of like Ulta/Sephora), Primark (Like a cheap H&M mixed with Forever21) and others. The others include Next, Topshop, Superdry, and Zara. But at the moment those store are just out of my price range.(Sidenote: They also have Forever21 but it seems as though the currency was not really convert as though a $23 shirt is still 23 Pounds which isn’t a good deal at all) Y’ll need to remember that I’m still a student. But just wait  ten years. When you walk down the street and see that sassy, stylish lady strutting down the street and think to yourself “who is that?” it will be me! Hehehe. Sorry for all the pictures, I just thought some of the mannequins were dress fabulously.
