New person

I’ve moved. I will no longer be blogging on this website. I will be blogging on soulfulabby.com

If you enjoy my post go to my new site and follow me there. Everything from the layout, contents, and author will be the same. I just need to find my own identity. I explained why I moved on my new blog. This will be the last post for this blog. So for the last time I will say…

Ciao Bella!

I think I’m going to change my domain name. I guess this is an end of an era. Soulfulbohemian.com was fun while it lasted. I think I got something better in mind. Stay tune for what’s to come.

Hello love bugs. If you cannot name one of the females pictured above then… Slap yourself. I’mm truly just kidding. there is nothing better than having a good circle of girlfriends. I can never truly understand when girls say, “I don’t get along with other girls. They just don’t like me!” Typically the girl will finish off a statement like this by subltley commenting on her personal beauty and how other girls are sooooo jealous of her!

*eye roll*

I can’t wait to find my fab four in college. The fab four is my concept of four fabulously friends that make up a tight knit square.

The Real One: Everybody needs a friend that will give it to you straight. The one that won’t hold back. The one that will give you the best advice. Someone that will give you advice and commentary like they are you’re sisters. My sisters do not sugar coat when they are talking to me.

Sassy Gal: I need a friend that is as into fashion and glam as I am. (Hahaha, that rhymes) My sassy sista will share my love for shoes and keep me on point with the latest threads. Hopefully me and my sassy sista will be the  same size in clothes or shoes so that we can share. Although if we are not, there are always jewelry, handbags, and scarves to be shared.

Boy-Crazy Chica: Everybody has that friend that is somehow always involved in some sort of boy drama. This Chica adds a little spice to the group. Her heartbreaks & break-ups give   us a reason to chow down on a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. Somehow boys are always flying in and out of her life. But you love her regardless. (And she always knows the hottest guys to hook you up with! Score!)

The Intellectual: This is a girl that is globally, socially, and culturally involved. She will keep you on your toes and hold you up to a certain standard to keep up with the world’s current event. She’s smart, insightful, and creative. Although she seems very different from the rest of the group she holds the group together.

So I bet you’re wondering where I fall. I think I’m the “Friend you need”. I am the girl that will tell you have a booger in your nose. It may sound like a simple thing but I don’t understand how “true” friend will let you walk around looking ratchect. I guess I’m a mix of the best qualities from Jessica White, Kimora Lee Simmons, Tyra Banks, Beyonce Knowles, Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York, Miranda Hobbes, Joan Clayton, Maya Wilkes, and Lynn Searcy. (And yes I did leave off Toni)

Side note: I do not own the pictures above.

Bad Girl’s Club.

Its truly sad to say I was into this show. If you don’t already know season 8 (I think) of Oxygen’s Bad Girl’s Club has just started. I’ve watched two seasons of BGC and I can honestly say that I’m  ashamed that I watched such a show. I didn’t watch the show last season, the one in New Orlean’s, but I did watch the two season before that. The show is a trashy expedition that exposes young ladies engaging in alcohol, sexual promiscuity, and fighting.

Well God told me not to watch the show any more.

ARRRGGGH– You temptation! I’m fighting. I’m honestly fighting my flesh. I’m ashamed to say that I actually long to watch this season. But I have to heed the words of the Lord. I haven’t really hear the Lord’s voice before in my life. But I feel myself being more conscious to his call and presence.

I’m not saying that it has been an easy journey. My flesh wants to watch the show. But I feel like God is telling me that I’m being subconsciousness influenced by the show and I need to stop the cycle. So far my behavior hasn’t reflected any principals/ morals that are found on the show.

If you are having a struggle similar to mine remember what the bible says. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says:

13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[c] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Sidenote: I am not judging you if you watch/enjoy this show. To each their own. I tend not to judge people because we are all on our own journeys.

Ciao Bella!

Mini- Hiatus

Sorry Love bugs. I have M.I.A. (Missing in Actions). I’m not trying to be the queen of excuses but I’ve seriously had trouble getting a camera to take photos. I’ve been using my mom’s camera and she’s demanded that I return it to her. Its not that I’ve lacked inspirations I just need to know one thing. Do you mind reading post without pictures? It may be childish but I really enjoy photos with post. (Sidenote: I tried reading children’s book as long as possible!) I have a lot of different post ideas but I don’t think they will be as effective without photos to accompany them! Oh well. I will leave you with Mr. Ocean’s new song, Voodoo.(Frank Ocean) I think the replay button has seriously been abused.

Ciao Bella!
